A Plus Junk Removal KC is a family-owned junk removal company, founded and owned by Dan Porter, serving Independence, Kansas City and the surrounding communities. We are not a franchise. We are the people who show up, quote the job, and do the lifting.
Why A Plus Exists
Getting rid of junk should not be the hardest part of cleaning out a garage, settling an estate, or turning over a rental. Too often it is: unclear prices, no-shows, and crews that will not touch anything that is not already at the curb.
A Plus started in Independence with a simple promise. Show us what needs to go, get a clear price before anything is lifted, and let local people handle the rest. That promise is still the whole business.
Every job on this site is one we actually did: the couch at the curb, the hot tub by the fence, the garage that went from packed to swept. When you send photos, the person who replies is the person who will be on your driveway.

We live and work on the east side of the metro. That means short drives, familiar streets, and neighbors who recognize the truck. From Independence and Blue Springs to Lee's Summit, Raytown and Kansas City, we serve the communities we are part of.
Usable furniture and goods go to local donation partners when practical, metal gets recycled, and only what cannot be reused goes to the landfill.
