Our crew disconnects the appliance (standard plug-in appliances, washing machine water lines - gas appliances should be shut off at the valve before we arrive) and carries it from any room to our truck. We recycle metals and handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations.

Do I need to disconnect the appliance before you arrive?
For standard plug-in appliances, no - we unplug them. For gas appliances (stoves, dryers), please shut off the gas valve before we arrive. For washing machines, we disconnect the water lines.
Do you take broken or non-working appliances?
Yes, absolutely. We take appliances regardless of whether they work. Broken appliances are recycled for their metal content.
How do you handle refrigerator refrigerant?
Refrigerants require EPA-compliant disposal. We handle this properly - we do not vent refrigerants into the atmosphere. Our disposal partners are certified for refrigerant recovery.
